Nicole graduated from York House School in 2006 and started her Bachelor of Science at UBC in September of that year. At UBC she majored in Biology and minored in Visual Art, and spent her third year on exchange at the University of Edinburgh. After finishing her BSc at UBC, she was torn between her interest in health science and visual art.
After a few different jobs (and courses), including many summers leading long canoe trips at a camp in Northern Ontario, she discovered that what she enjoyed most was working with people. She decided on nursing as an ideal way to blend her diverse interests. In the spring of 2016, she graduated from UBC’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing program and has been working as a Registered Nurse on an acute medical/surgical ward at Vancouver General Hospital since then.
